outdoor education

inspiring the next generation of conservationists

At Wild Eskdale we believe that getting children outside and interacting with the environment will help them respect it as an adult.

Helping children learn responsibility, leadership and empathy for nature is vital if we wish to conserve it for generations to come.

passing on
valuable life skills

Wild Eskdale provide local children the chance to undertake the John Muir Award, participate in outdoor activity sessions and learn from older members of the communtiy who wish pass on the life skills they have.

Through our YOGI initiative we are training young adults as outdoor guides and aiding in their employability prospects in future.
